The overall objective of the South Australian Branch of the AIIA is to promote interest and understanding of international issues in South Australia. The non-profit Institute aims to increase awareness through its events, publications and presence in the community while not advocating its own view. The AIIA operates nationally through state Branches with a national office to coordinate and spread ideas developed in the state to target its diverse demographic and respond to local needs. The ability of the Institute to achieve these objectives depends directly on the nature and favourability of its internal and external environments.
