WEA Courses

For some years now, AIIA members have been presenting adult education lecture courses in conjunction with WEA-Sydney, in accordance with our mission to educate the Australian public in International Affairs. These courses help to raise our profile in the community and to bring in new members – as well as earning a little money for the Institute and the lecturers. Lecturers also enjoy the chance to present their ideas or experiences to the public.

The courses are anywhere from one to eight lectures in length, each lecture typically typically a one hour presentation at the Glover Cottages on a weekday night or possibly at the weekend. Lecturers are paid at the rate of $57 per lecture.

The Summer session runs over February-April. Would any AIIA members who would like to propose new WEA courses for the Spring term?
