The Australian Institute of International Affairs is delighted that the Foreign Minister has agreed to give this year's Charteris lecture. We understand that Mr Rudd intends to use the occasion to deliver an address on the future of Australian foreign policy in a troubled and uncertain world. As both Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mr Rudd’s contribution to the international debate has been widely recognised throughout the world and we can expect to hear a compelling, well argued and stimulating address.
