An ACCESS event open to all and held in partnership with the African Think Tank

ACCESS, the youth network of the AIIAV, invites you to the second of two events examining the critical issues facing a part of the world that is suffering much conflict and violence. The struggles of the Horn of Africa, encompassing Somalia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Sudan, seem of little or no consequence to Australia but such is the region's distress that the events now unfolding there are of global impact.  We are compelled to take notice before it is too late.

Moderated by Dr. Berhan Ahmed, Founder of the African Think Tank and Victorian of the Year 2009, our forum will discuss developments in the region and seek ways to contribute to constructive and peaceful outcomes. This unique event aims to engender discussion and audience participation, with the hope of stimulating and increasing dialogue among communities with a focus on reconciliation.
