We also look forward to the active input of Australian and international audience members at this event.
Caroline will discuss the evolving environment for women in diplomacy over the course of her 28 year career in DFAT, including the impact of legislation and changing social attitudes in
Susanne will speak on The Danish Experience: Denmark and the Nordic countries have implemented many progressive policies and practices to promote gender equality in the workplace.
Virginia will speak on Women and Social Justice in Afghanistan: Both the UN and the Afghan Ministry of Women have rated Afghanistan "one of the worst places in the world in which to be a woman". Virginia travelled to Kabul to find out why, and to determine what the international community is doing about it.
