Developments in Mining and Energy in Canada
As a major mining and energy producer, trends in Canadian policy and practice in dealing with many global issues - ranging from climate change to corporate and social responsibility and indigenous relations - have many parallels to Australia, and Canadian experiences provide a useful context in considering Australia’s own policy development process.
The luncheon is open to all Members. Places are limited and priority will be given to Members who have AIIA Membership.

He is a former Australian Ambassador for the Environment and was also chief negotiator for Australia in its bilateral free trade negotiations with Thailand. His previous postings have been in Los Angeles, Brussels and Copenhagen.
