Led by a number of junior minerals and energy companies, many Australians are experiencing firsthand the political cross currents of former Soviet Central Asia. This is clearly understood by those entrepreneurs and diplomats on the ground. However, in the broader geo-political context, what are the forces influencing Central Asian politics? How does competition between Russia, Iran, Turkey, China and the US shape local political dynamics? What are the prospects for change and new developments during the 2010s? What will define business investment parameters up to 2020 and beyond?
Join a group of senior business leaders with one of Western Australia’s leading strategic analysts for an in depth discussion on the Central Asian geopolitics and what this means for Australia.
The luncheon is open to all Members. Places are limited and priority will be given to Members who have AIIA Membership. To book, please call 9481 7000 or email admin@waclub.com.au. Two course lunch $55.00 (includes drinks). AIIA membership enquires may also be directed to admin@waclub.com.au. (Annual Fee $70)
